California: Influencer murdered by estranged husband

In California, a 40-year-old influencer, Gloria Zamora, was murdered by her 45-year-old estranged husband, Thomas Lizarraga, in a restaurant parking lot.

The incident occurred on Saturday night while Zamora was on a date with her 43-year-old partner, Hector Garduno, a father of four. Lizarraga fatally shot both of them.

A San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputy, who was off-duty, heard the shots and intervened. During the confrontation, 45-year-old Lizarraga was killed.

Gloria Zamora, a mother of 7 children aged 8 to 24, was in the process of divorcing Lizarraga. A few days before the incident, she had mentioned her divorce in a video posted on Instagram.

Zamora's daughter has started a GoFundMe campaign to support the family and cover funeral expenses.
