Michalis Zambidis in Hospital: Message of Optimism

Kick boxing champion, Michalis Zambidis, is hospitalized, as he announced himself via Instagram on Monday, June 23rd.

In his post, Zambidis is seen lying in a hospital bed with an IV, but in good spirits, writing: "Unexpected things happen, the important thing is to overcome them, always investing thirstily for our next goals." He did not provide further details about the reason for his admission.

Giorgos Liagas, on ANT1's "To Proino" show, mentioned that Zambidis suffered a back injury, which developed into inflammation and fluid collection, resulting in the need for hospitalization to remove the fluid.

Liagas reassured Zambidis' friends and fans, saying that it is nothing serious and expressed hope that the athlete will be discharged soon.
