Olympiacos signs Antonis Karagiannidis for five years

Olympiacos has announced the acquisition of Antonis Karagiannidis for the next five years. The international forward/center will remain on loan to Promitheas Patras for the 2025-2026 season.

The transfer of Karagiannidis will cost Olympiacos a total of 1.6 million euros, while Promitheas will receive 500,000 euros.

The 23-year-old player's contract is for 3+2 years. Karagiannidis will receive 525,000 euros for the first three years and 300,000 euros for each year, if Olympiacos activates the options until the end of the 2030-2031 season.

Karagiannidis played in 18 Stoiximan GBL matches, averaging 6.7 points and 6.2 rebounds.

The deal between Olympiacos, Promitheas and the player was completed on Tuesday (26/6). The player will join Olympiacos' preparation in the summer of 2026.
