"Proλαμβano" program expands with new free screenings

The Ministry of Health is expanding the "Proλαμβano" screening program, focusing on cardiovascular diseases, obesity, and kidney dysfunction.

According to the Ministry of Health, free screenings for breast cancer, cervical cancer, colon cancer, and cardiovascular diseases have already begun.

Deputy Minister of Health, Eirini Agapidaki, stated that approximately 3 million citizens out of the 6 million eligible have already undergone their preventive examinations.

The "Proλαμβano" program is aimed at all citizens aged 30 to 70 and aims to detect health problems early.
