Jonathan Bailey defends kissing Scarlett Johansson

Jonathan Bailey has defended the kiss he shared with Scarlett Johansson at the premiere of "Jurassic World: Rebirth" in New York on June 23. The affectionate moment between the two actors went viral, sparking various comments.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Bailey stated that for him, kissing is a way to show love to others. "I think you should be able to show love in every way. And if you can't kiss your friends... then what's the point? Life is too short," he said.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bailey spoke about his experience as a gay actor participating in a blockbuster action film. He admitted that he felt the pressure to prove his worth, as in the past gay actors did not have the opportunity to play straight roles.
The film "Jurassic World: Rebirth" takes place five years after the events of "Jurassic World: Dominion". Scarlett Johansson plays Zora, a secret operations specialist who leads a team to recover genetic material from the three largest species of dinosaurs. The team finds itself on a remote island where it discovers a shocking secret.
