Haliburton Confirmed to Have Ruptured Achilles Tendon

Fears have been confirmed for Tyrese Haliburton of the Pacers. The 25-year-old has suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in his right leg, according to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Haliburton will undergo surgery to repair the damage. The Pacers guard, who had been playing with a calf strain in the same leg, was injured in the middle of the first quarter of Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
At the time of the injury, Haliburton already had 9 points with 3/3 three-pointers. The injury occurred in an innocuous play, with the player falling to the court and leaving supported by the team.
