Satellite Images Reveal Damage to Iranian Nuclear Facilities

Satellite images taken after reported U.S. strikes on underground uranium enrichment facilities in Fordow, Iran, reveal craters and a dust cloud.
The images, released by Maxar Technologies, were taken on June 22, hours after the reported attack. They show six new craters, corresponding to the impact points of U.S. Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs.
According to the BBC, the size of the craters is relatively small, which is expected for weapons designed to explode deep underground. In addition to dust, debris is visible on the mountainside.
A BBC analyst stated that three different bombs hit two locations, while the gray coloration on the ground indicates the ejection of sections of reinforced concrete. The tunnel entrances appear to have been blocked, possibly due to reinforcements made by Iran.
