Operation 'Midnight Hammer': The Role of B-2 Bombers and CIA Involvement

Operation 'Midnight Hammer', marking direct US involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict, involved 13 B-2 bombers, with six acting as decoys at Guam Island.
According to protothema.gr, the operation was based on three 'keys', mainly deception. Washington leaked the movement of B-2 bombers, increasing the alert level in Iran.
In total, 13 B-2 bombers took off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. Six headed to Guam, while the remaining seven participated in the destruction of underground nuclear facilities in Iran. More than 125 aircraft participated in the mission, including refueling aircraft, fighters, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Dan Kane, Chief of Staff of the Army, stated that the six B-2 bombers acted as 'decoys'.
According to CBS, the head of the CIA informed Donald Trump that Iran was 'within one meter' of acquiring nuclear weapons, leading to preemptive action.
The first B-2 was unveiled on November 22, 1988, and its effectiveness was demonstrated in the Allied Force, where it contributed to the destruction of 33% of Serbian targets in the first eight weeks.
