Grossi Requests Access to Iran's Nuclear Facilities

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, has requested access from Tehran to its nuclear facilities.
The purpose of the visit is to investigate the status of Iran's enriched uranium stockpile. Grossi stressed the need for inspectors to be allowed to examine the situation on the ground, particularly regarding the 400 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60%.
According to Rafael Grossi, on June 13, the day the Israeli attack began, Tehran informed the Agency by letter that special measures were being taken to protect equipment and nuclear material.
Referring to the Fordow site, Grossi noted that the craters from the attack are now visible. He estimated that, due to the power of the explosives and the sensitivity of the centrifuge devices, the damage caused is expected to be significant.
