Foreign Ministry advises against non-essential travel to the Middle East

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Greek citizens to avoid non-essential travel to the Middle East due to temporary air traffic restrictions in Qatar and Bahrain.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry calls on Greeks already in Qatar and Bahrain to stay informed from official sources and follow the instructions of local authorities. It also recommends contacting airlines for any changes to flight schedules.
Furthermore, the recommendation to avoid visits to Syria, issued on December 7, 2024, remains in effect.
